Since 1943, when Donald Tetrick acquired and renovated the family’s first funeral home in Elizabethton, the Tetrick family has focused their efforts on providing traditional funeral services with an eye on innovation.

Tetrick Funeral Services of Johnson City is the newest location and certainly maintains the family tradition. The funeral home is located at 3001 Peoples Street behind Super K-Mart and was selected for its convenience for all area families. The site provides spacious parking, handicap restroom facilities, and the total absence of steps.

Meaningful funeral services have taken on a new dimension with the growing popularity of personalized funeral services. Our staff believes a funeral is the celebration of a life that was lived. Using family photographs, personal possessions, crafts and collectibles, other mementos, and a customized video tribute, the funeral directors take special care to create a visitation and funeral that truly reflect the life of the deceased. The video tribute is our newest and most effective personalized expression. This tribute, which consists of up to 24 photographs combined with different scenery and background music, is played during visitation and has proven to be very meaningful to the family and friends. A complimentary video is given to each family that selects a video tribute.
